Attend a Public Meeting

Accountability is a huge part of keeping our government on track. Having citizens sit in on public meetings keeps our elected officials honest, and makes them think twice about what they have to say. Sadly many public meetings have few or no members of the public present at all.

Walk In a Parade

Walking in a parade is a great way to get your kids involved! Candidates are always happy to have people walk with them in a parade, and the more the merrier! Call the candidate’s office in the weeks preceding the parade to sign up and ask for details, and then go show your support. You might just make bystanders reconsider their vote.
